Hammam floor heating warms the walking area, seating area, backrest area and navel stone of a hammam with a 240 W/m² electric heater embedded beneath the marble, travertine or ceramic. This is the highest rating in the HomeMax family and is calculated for hammams alone. The heater is either TMax cable clipped into fixing strip or EasyMat ready-made matting with the cable laid on mesh; the cable inside both is the same, and so is the price per square metre. It is prepared for areas between 2 and 24 m² for homes, villas, hotels and commercial hammams.
In a bathroom 180 W/m² is enough because the target there is a floor at 22–25 °C. In a hammam the target is 40–45 °C: people sit on the marble with bare skin and expect the surface to be close to body temperature. The difference is not only comfort but heat loss.
TMax cable + fixing strip Single-conductor, series-resistance TMax cable clips into the fixing strip and runs at roughly 10 cm spacing; on average 10 metres of cable per square metre. It climbs onto the step of the seating area and up the plinth of the navel stone, turning down to a 30 mm bending radius. The fixing strip is included in the price.
EasyMat ready-made matting The same cable laid on a rigid fibreglass mesh; it comes as an under-marble heating mat in 50 and 100 cm widths and roughly 6 mm thick. The roll is unrolled and taped down; when changing direction cut the mesh only and never touch the cable.

| Dimensions and supply | on average 10 m of cable per m² · roughly 10 cm laying spacing · approx. 6 mm diameter · minimum bending radius 30 mm · matting 50 and 100 cm wide, 6 mm thick, rigid fibreglass mesh, cold lead pre-terminated · 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz · IP67 · two layers of polymer insulation · continuous earth protection and screening |
| Suitable finishes | Used beneath marble, travertine, natural stone, ceramic and porcelainParquet and laminate are not suitable for this temperature band. |
| Temperatures and warm-up | Walking area 40 °C · seating area, calf area and backrest area 40–45 °C · navel stone 45–55 °C · cable safety limit 65 °C · walking and seating areas reach target in about 45 minutesOn a navel stone with a thick slab, only the initial warm-up takes longer. |
| Surface dimensions | Heating in the backrest area starts 10 cm above the seating surface; the height is 50 cm in a domestic hammam and 100 cm in a commercial one · minimum order area 2 m²If the seating area does not reach 2 m², the backrest and calf areas are added to the calculation. |
| Screed, build-up and insulation | 2–5 cm of screed over the heater · at least 6–7 mm of underlay beneath itWith 2 cm of screed the total build-up is about 3 cm, and with 5 cm of screed 6–7 cm. The underlay is a separate product. |

The thermostat, fixing strip and underlay carry a 2-year warranty. |
| Surface | Target temperature | How it is controlled |
|---|---|---|
| Walking area | 40 °C | Floor thermostat, sensor embedded in the screed |
| Seating area and calf area | 40 – 45 °C | Wired to the floor circuit, with the sensor on the horizontal surface |
| Backrest area | 40 – 45 °C | Same circuit, fixed to the vertical surface with plugs |
| Top surface of the navel stone | 45 – 55 °C | Its own thermostat and its own sensor, an independent zone |
| The heating cable itself | 65 °C maximum | This is a safety limit and is never exceeded in any zone |
